Christmas in July
This week I was taken aback walking into At Home, the home furnishings store, on the hunt for an outdoor rug to enhance my patio. It is July after all, with nights spent dining and relaxing in my outdoor oasis. Being greeted by Santa figurines, giant glitter balls and feathered angels was far from what I expected. This store really does embrace Christmas in July.
Proactive clients planning for holiday parties get praise in my book. Ironically, the first conversation about one client’s holiday party occurred earlier this week. How we can differ and enhance designs is always a point of discussion.
Last year, we assisted Underwood Events to create a winter wonderland for 5,200 Quad Graphics guests. A custom Northwoods bar, branded bingo hall and balloon artists were a few unique features. With a massive party this size, signage is key and that’s just what we delivered.
There is a real story behind how Christmas in July started… all thanks to Fannie Holt.
